When Is It The Right Time To Swear??

This week room 19 have been looking at “when is the right time to swear” and so I have written what I think should happen to people who swear in public.

Did you know that there was a meeting for the residents in a small town outside Boston for teens and other adults who swear in public?
Well I think swearing is unnecessary and it is disrespectful to other people who are around you. Most people swear when they are angry, in a argument or just to be cool.

Swearing in public is a very bad habit because it shows and tells people what a bad influence you are.

So from my point of view my advice to you is to “THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK”..

All About Me!

Hi there my name is Vanila Faamausili and I am a year 8 student at Pt England School. I am in room 19 and my teachers name is Mr.Harris.

I really like coming to school because I like to learn new things everyday. My favourite subjects are reading, literacy and maths but out of all of those things my most favourite is reading. The reason why I like reading is because I somehow focus on my work and I understand most of the work I get given. I also love coming to school because I always see my friends who make me laugh and cheer me up when I am feeling down. This is my last year at Pt England and I am going to be really sad when I leave for college next year. The sports that I have joined at this school so far are : Netball, Rugby, Softball and swimming.

At home I like to stay in my room and listen to music. I am not a fan at playing outdoors but sometimes I go out and play cricket with my cousins. My family are really important to me because they encourage me to do things and they take care of me. I have had lots of fun doing things and going places with all my cousins, like going to the movies, beach, Samoa, and family reunions. I have one brother and one sister. I also have three steps but they do not live with us.

Thanks to Athena for checking my work.
